Geeting to Geelong
Options from Tullamarine:
Gull Airport Shuttle
- Dedicated door-to-door shuttle service between Tullamarine and Geelong, departing regularly from the ground opposite the international arrivals terminal. Book via The Gull Bus on (03) 5222 4966 or gull.com.au
- Taxi or private transfer is the quickest and most convenient option, taking a little over an hour. Companies like Geelong Airport Transfers or Murrell's run 24/7 door-to-door services from Tullamarine straight to Geelong addresses (e.g. the Crowne Plaza)
- The cheapest but longest option: SkyBus Express to the city centre, then a V/Line train to Geelong, taking around 1 hour 35 minutes total not including wait times. SkyBus runs from all terminals to Southern Cross Station, then V/Line trains run regularly Southern Cross → Geelong.
- Straightforward if you don't mind driving, roughly an hour door to door.
Options from Avalon:
Taxi
- Taxis are available directly outside the terminal, with fares to Geelon around $50. You can book via 13CABS or similar.
- Available with pickup bays at the terminal; given the short distance this is often the fasted and most convenient option (roughly 15-20 minutes drive)

- Avalon is about 19km from central Geelong, roughly a 15-minute drive.
