Dr. Clayton Bettin, MD is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with advanced subspecialty training in Foot & Ankle surgery who practices in Memphis, TN.  He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2010 and completed residency training at the Campbell Clinic - University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2015.  His fellowship training occurred at the University of Utah under Drs. Saltzman, Nickisch, Beals, and Barg.  Dr. Bettin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tennessee and on the Board of Directors of Campbell Clinic.  He is the Associate Residency Program Director of Campbell Clinic’s forty resident surgeons and the Foot & Ankle Fellowship Director.  He specializes in advanced Charcot reconstructions, high energy traumatic injuries to the foot and ankle, and the business of medicine.  Dr. Bettin has authored 12 book chapters, 30 peer reviewed publications, and presented over 50 podium presentations both nationally and internationally.  He is married to Kristen Bettin, MD, a practicing pediatrician and Senior Assistant Dean of Clinical Curriculum for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine.  Together they have four children; Alyssa (11), Sawyer (9), Silas (5), and Aria (3).  Dr. Bettin enjoys spending time with his family, cooking/grilling, and sipping a good glass of bourbon.

Cesar de Cesar Netto, MD, PhD, joined the Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Duke University in May, 2023. His medical school, orthopaedic residency, PhD Program, and first orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship were completed at the University of Sao Paulo (USP). Later, he engaged in three additional orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Clinical Fellowships at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York, and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. He also served as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Orthopaedic Functional Imaging Research Laboratory for four years at the University of Iowa, Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, in Iowa City-IA.
