Jagdeep Nanchahal is a surgeon-scientist focusing on defining the molecular mechanisms of common diseases and translating his findings through to early phase clinical trials. Jagdeep undertook his PhD, funded by the MRC, whilst a medical student in London and trained as a reconstructive plastic surgeon. His research is focused on identifying novel therapeutic targets for reducing fibrosis and promoting tissue regeneration, and translating his findings through to clinical trials. He is a proponent of evidence-based medicine and was the only plastic surgery member of the NICE Guidance Development Groups on complex and non-complex fractures.
Dr. Goldfarb specializes in the evaluation and treatment of all conditions related to the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and finger conditions, including work/sports-related injuries, degenerative and rheumatoid arthritis conditions, nerve compression syndromes, and traumatic reconstruction. He is particularly committed to the care of children with birth and acquired problems of the upper extremity, including birth anomalies, difficulties related to trauma, and acquired conditions of any type including tumours.
Professor Haerle carried out his medical and surgical training in Italy, France and Germany. He has started training with Giorgio Brunelli, then continued training with the French Hand Group around Alain Gilbert and Tubiana. He then moved to the University of Hannover (Alfred Berger) and then to the University of Tübingen to complete training in Plastic surgery and in Hand surgery as well. He now heads the Plastic and Hand Surgery Department of the Orthopaedic Clinic in Markgröningen in Germany (Stuttgart). He is also an assistant professor (venia legendi) in plastic surgery at the E.K. University Tübingen.
