WELCOME

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us at the 2026 Combined Australian Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) & New Zealand Foot & Ankle Society (NZFAS) Conference, to be held in Singapore from 13–16 August 2026.

This will be a landmark international meeting — bringing together surgeons from Australia and New Zealand as host nations, alongside our esteemed guest societies: the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, the Singapore Orthopaedic Association, and the South African Foot Surgeons Association.

Why This Meeting Matters

The 2026 conference has been purposefully crafted to go far beyond a traditional scientific program. Every element — from the faculty to the format — is designed to challenge thinking, sharpen skills, and spark collaboration.

Here’s what you can expect:

World-class faculty — global thought leaders and pioneers in foot and ankle surgery, hand-picked for their expertise and ability to inspire
Contemporary, high-impact content spanning sports injuries, arthroscopy, trauma, deformity correction, biologics, and emerging technologies at the cutting edge of our specialty
Interactive case-based discussions and live debates built around real-world clinical decision-making — not just theory, but the nuanced choices we face every day
Genuine opportunities for international collaboration and research exchange that extend well beyond the conference halls

Singapore offers the ideal setting — a vibrant, world-connected hub perfectly positioned to bring together surgeons from across continents, all while delivering an outstanding cultural and professional experience.

A Community Shaping the Future

This meeting is about more than education. It is a gathering of a community — surgeons united in their commitment to advancing standards of care, refining surgical techniques, mentoring the next generation, and collectively shaping the future of foot and ankle surgery.

Whether you are an established specialist, an emerging leader, or a trainee with a passion for this field, you will find a program that is intellectually rigorous, clinically grounded, and professionally energising.

On behalf of the entire organising committee, I warmly invite you to save the dates, register, submit your abstracts, and join us for what promises to be one of the most significant foot and ankle meetings in our region in 2026.

We look forward to welcoming you personally to Singapore

Warm Regards

Simon Platt – AOFAS President
Dror Maor – Scientific Convenor
Tony Danesh-Clough – NZFAS President
