The Techno Practicum College has been Rescheduled to March 2021

There has been a significant escalation in the COVID-19 pandemic and an Australian epidemic appears imminent. There has been a tightening of rules for gatherings and restrictions on travel worldwide but now also by health authorities in Australia.

As the TPC will be attended by cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, trainees and nurses from most units around the country, any exposure to Covid-19 at the planned TPC next week could disrupt cardiac surgical activity Australia wide. As there is no relief from Coronavirus in view for the short or midterm our best option is to reschedule the TPC to the same time, same venue in 2021.

Despite an outstanding faculty and program organised thanks to numerous hours of hard work, postponing the meeting is inevitable. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who registered and our sponsors for their support. All registrations remain valid for the rescheduled meeting and I do ask for your ongoing trust and support by remaining committed to the 2021 TPC.
